$10K Reward Announced for Information in Reajonette Morgan’s Murder Case

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the individuals responsible for the murder of 25-year-old Reajonette Morgan. This announcement comes as authorities continue their search for the suspect(s) involved in this tragic incident.

Sheriff Robert Luna, along with Morgan’s mother, Anginette Morgan, and community advocates, will hold a press conference on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at South Los Angeles Station, located at 1310 West Imperial Highway, Los Angeles, CA 90044. The press conference will provide new details about the investigation, including images of the suspect’s vehicle and additional evidence in the case.

Reajonette Morgan was tragically shot and killed on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, around 7:45 p.m., while driving her white Mercedes-Benz. As she approached the 105 Freeway on-ramp in South Los Angeles, the suspect’s vehicle pulled up alongside her on the driver’s side. Without warning, the suspect(s) fired multiple rounds into the Mercedes, striking Morgan several times. The gunfire caused her car to crash at the corner of Vermont Avenue and the 105 Freeway on-ramp. After the shooting, the suspect vehicle continued south on Vermont Avenue and fled the scene.

The LASD Homicide Bureau is actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person or people responsible for this crime. A $10,000 reward is being offered by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for tips that lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s). Investigators believe that someone may have witnessed the shooting or noticed the suspect vehicle before or after the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

In addition to Sheriff Luna, Raejonette Morgan’s mother, Anginette Morgan, Demicha Lofton from the Long Live Gerrick Foundation, family friend Keimyah Williams, Dr. Janoc Bance PSYD, and family friend Donne Pullen will also speak at the press conference. They are calling on the public for help in bringing justice to Reajonette’s family and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.
